Finally, the master keys
to being able to
play any musical instrument
in less than
ten minutes a day
Understanding of Music Seminar coming to Glasgow in July
Could you see yourself amazing crowds with blistering guitar solos?
Or
Wowing friends and family with your amazing new piano skills
You are probably thinking to yourself that this could never happen…
But how would you feel if you knew you could be doing just this in
less than 3 months at ten minutes practice a day.
Would it make sense to spend a few minutes understanding how?
If you are like 90% of the population you have been sold these lies about music:
-
Music is complex and difficult to learn
-
Music is a “serious” subject
-
Music takes years to learn
-
Music education is expensive
-
Music requires at least some natural ability and talent
-
Music is not for everyone.
Some people are living these lies every day.
You may have tried to learn music before, put in all the blood, sweat and tears just to learn House of the Rising Sun and then eventually hiding your guitar in a cupboard never to be picked up again.
Maybe you were one of those kids that got forced by their parents into having piano lessons from a stony faced old crone whose idea of modern music ended with Beethoven and have rebelled against the idea ever since.
Or perhaps you were told by your sadistic school music teacher you were tone deaf and couldn’t hold a tune in a bucket…and then lost all belief about having any musical talent.
Perhaps you found the perfect teacher and started having lessons. Then nine months later still find yourself struggling to find middle C on a piano and having to remortgage the house to continue with the lessons.
But just imagine if something else was the real truth about music…
If you could learn to play a keyboard or a guitar in just ten minutes a day after three months…
and the gift of music is for everyone…
and you can learn quickly, easily…
and have fun doing it
You would you want to know how wouldn’t you?

In April 2006 I was privileged to meet a guy called Duncan Lorien. Duncan made some very bold statements about playing music. He claimed in three days you can learn:
-
All the note names on the keyboard and guitar from memory and how to work out the note names on other types of Western musical instruments.
-
How to play all the scales and modes (a special type of scale) on both keyboard and guitar.
-
Memorise dozens of scales in the three days.
-
How to play every single chord on both the keyboard AND guitar
-
To memorise dozens of chords during the three days.
-
How simply the physics of sound and the history of music can be explained.
-
New breakthrough easy exercises to teach you to coordinate hands and fingers rapidly accelerating your playing technique.
-
How to understand a chord chart so that you can play songs for keyboard and guitar in minutes not hours.
Not only this but that he has worked out 100 ten minute lessons for keyboards and guitar, that if you did daily would give you a quantum leap in your playing ability…and even more – “you don’t even need to have ever played a musical instrument before”.
I was amazed at the claim, just imagine the potential… In just three months any or all of these things could be happening to you: · You could be amazing friends and family with an incredible new talent.·
Perhaps your children want to learn to play and you don’t want the expense and hassle of those laborious twice weekly lessons.·
How about just listening to music with a new appreciation because you know the inside scope of how it is being created.·
Do you dream about putting a band together and playing in front of a crowd?or Maybe just the satisfaction of playing pieces of music to yourself and knowing that you have the talent, skill and ability to do just that would be enough.
You might not think this is possible, certainly I was sceptical. So I scoured his website looking for evidence that learning to play was really that easy. Sure, there are loads of testimonials and information about Duncan, how he teaches, and information about music…but I was unconvinced. But, then four things happened that meant I was prepared to take a risk and go on the seminar.
Firstly, I saw Duncan’s full money back guarantee. If I was not completely satisfied with the content and the programme I could get my money back. But what was even more impressive was that in all the years of Duncan delivering his seminar, no one had ever asked for their money back.
I still had it in my head that I would not get much from the course even though Duncan says it is for everyone.
“Absolute beginners in music, professionals in all styles of music, college graduates with music degrees, music teachers and even music college instructors have all attended and testified to the incredible success they have experienced with the Seminar.
The youngest graduate is only 6 years old and the oldest is 91. The youngest recommended age is 13 years old (depending on study ability). Younger children will be considered on written application.”
Then I saw the following testimonial on his website…
“It took me five years to reach a point equal to the first few hours of this course. There is nothing comparable to this data in the field of music." - Billy Van Horn
I was now sure that I could say, “I will get something from the course.” I also realised that the price was far less than a course of guitar lessons that I was considering. This, the full money back guarantee and the glowing testimonials on his website meant I was prepared to take the risk and book on the course.
-
I was more than impressed with the power of this three day seminar.
-
I have been playing a guitar since I was a teenager, but in less than three days I learnt more about music than I have in over twenty years of playing the guitar.
-
I listen to music differently,
-
I know more about the theory of music than my mother…and she has completed a degree in music just a few years ago that included going through all of the grading system.
-
I play with more precision, soul and understanding than ever before.
-
When I used to take my music seriously I used to have a two hour practise routine…I now have a ten minute practice routine that I don’t take to seriously and still get better results.
Less than a week after attending the seminar people were remarking on how much my playing had improved. I have also taken up the keyboard and harmonica.
If you have any desire to play music or are already competent as a musician this seminar is an absolute must.
What if you have never picked up a musical instrument before?
Duncan uses techniques that have taken him many years of development to rapidly accelerate your understanding and learning of music. He very quickly dispels all the myths about learning music being difficult and gives you practice lessons that you can go away with and dramatically improve your guitar or keyboard skills in ten minutes a day.
I saw people playing scales and modes that I had taken me years to learn.
I watched Duncan teach several people who had never touched a guitar in their lives the secret to playing barre chords easily, in less than ten minutes flat. It had taken me months to learn the same. If only I had access to this information when I had started playing.
Duncan took us all through some specially prepared exercises that were specifically created to deal with coordination difficulties for musical instruments and although I had been a guitarist for years I could feel the difference almost immediately.
Never having read music before I was amazed that everyone, including me took minutes to learn how to read music and understand music…and this was for any instrument…not just guitar and keyboard.
Having never played a keyboard before in my life, I amazed myself, at the end of the seminar reading and playing both hands together on a keyboard. Sure I was slow, but I knew if I could do this in just three days what would I be capable of if I just keep going with the specially prepared lessons for the next three months.
Just imagine being a competent musician through just a three day seminar and then ten minutes a day practice for a few months.
If you can see that as a logical possibility how would you feel about booking on the seminar?
In fact I was so taken with Duncan and his impressive training techniques I decided on the spot that I wanted him to deliver his course in Glasgow and that I would organise it. I argued with Duncan over the price of the seminar.
Considering the cost of a year of music lessons at, for example £20 per lesson weekly, this alone comes to over £1000 and then, just think of the blood, sweat and tears of hours of endless practice learning the “old way”… It is my firm belief that you will exceed the results that you get from this approach in ten minutes a day for three months.
I couldn’t believe that he was willing to give away all of his secrets for such a low price. If I were delivering this seminar I would be charging at least the £900 for the whole package.
But Duncan has a view that music should be accessible for all, and therefore his rate is only £295 for the three days -- AND included in this price is 100 ten minute lessons for either guitar or keyboard AND a full manual with all the details of the programme so you can review it at your leisure.
But don’t just take my word that Duncan really over delivers. Have a look at Duncan’s website, the pages of testimonials, his music credentials, some of the seminar information and consider the possibilities of this working for you.
The one course that Duncan is doing in the UK this year is in Glasgow City Centre from Friday 20th July to Sunday 22nd July.
Only when you are completely certain that this is the ideal course for you contact me by email or phone. I will book you straight on the course and discuss any other details that you might need.
Duncan is only doing the one course in the UK this year and demand is high, so book now to avoid disappointment.
Sincerely
